Ralph
Pallarino is an amazing young chef. He's never set foot in a culinary
school in his life. Nor has he had to. Like Tommy, The Who's "Pinball
Wizard," he's got a natural touch that some chefs would die
for. Plus the looks, quick wit and charisma that would play well
on TV. (More on that later.) Most nights at Stella Blu, the eclectic
Italian he co-owns with Kim Strengari and Marianne Gere, he commutes
between the lively "Star Bar" and even livelier kitchen,
mixing a dynamite Cosmopolitan one minute, mingling with dining
guests the next, and then mixing it up with his sous chef and kitchen
